It wasn't until 1873 that John Glenn, an Irish veteran of the American Civil War, became Calgary’s first documented European settler. Quick Tour Facts:

  • Tour operates - All Year Round
  • Tour departure requires 4 persons minimum or tour may have to be canceled - ask your friends to join you!
  • Service includes pick-up and drop-off from Calgary Tower, HI Youth Hostel and at major hotels in downtown Calgary.
  • Other pick-up hotel locations outside of downtown are available, but "only" pick-ups, "not" drop-off.
    Additional $10.00 fee per person will apply.
  • For Departure at noon - Due to the large Rush-Hour traffic, drop-off is only at Calgary Tower.
  • Fourth Wave Rush-Hour traffic begins at 15:00 and last ‘till who-knows-when. There’s nothing you can do about it, so drop-off at Calgary Tower makes much easier for everyone
  • Morning pick-up, from 07:45 to 08:00, or from 11:45 to 12:00 depending on location in the down-town area.
  • Please be at your pick-up location at least 5 minutes prior tour departure. Very often for the same tour there is a possibility that we have more pick-up spots in downtown area and timing is very, very important.
  • Departure at 08:00 - Return approximately at 11:00.
  • Departure at noon, 12:00 - Return approximately at 15:00.

Prices are in Canadian Dollars and do not include 5% GST

  • Fare: $50.00 + 5% GST
  • Payment can be made:
    • Online through PayPal - Choose to pay using your credit card, debit card, or bank account.
      • Make secure payment without exposing your credit card number or bank information.
      • If you choose this option we will send you invoice and then you pay.
    • With Credit Card by E-mail, Phone or Fax - we accept Visa or Mastercard.
    • Cash and Travelers Checks accepted only on Tour Days - Last moment booking only!!!

  • Driver gratuities or tipping may be provided at your own discretion and will be happily accepted.

What to bring:

  • Camera, sunglasses, a cap or hat, comfortable walking or hiking shoes, dress appropriately for weather.

  • Beautiful view of Calgary downtown, the Stampede Park and the Scotiabank Saddledome from Scotsman Hill.

  • Finishing with C.O.P. or Canada Olympic Park - were 1988 the Winter Olympic Games, was hosted.
