Explore mysterious Canadian Badlands with our popular Drumheller Badlands tour. It's a unique geographical region, which tells a story of glaciers and erosion which formed this fascinating landscape. It is also the historic home of Canada’s great dinosaur finds, the largest in the world, and so connects to the enduring curiosity and mythology surrounding the rise and fall of the dinosaurs.

AMAZING Drumheller Badlands Tour
I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to do a small group tour! Peter has been very communicative with me through email with regards to booking and reservation. Just from the email itself, I could tell he is a very sincere and genuine person! On the day of the tour, Petar took one step ahead to go up to the guests, including me who are waiting for the pick-up. Knowing that I am a Deaf person (but I am wearing hearing aid), Petar understands the needs to speak slowly as well as inform the other guests that there is a Deaf passenger on this tour. Petar is very informative and knowledgeable at each place that we went to! On the whole, Petar is a very friendly and approachable person who never fails to lighten up the mood of the tour. And transportation is comfortable and spacious! It has a high and large window which allows us to look out easily and clearly. They have plenty of other tours and if I have a chance to be in Calgary again, I would go for another tour whichever they have, to see other beautiful parts of Alberta!

Awesome tour of the badlands
I loved my tour with Peter of Hammerhead Scenic Tours! I highly recommend this tour! It started with the booking. I expected to have to walk to Calgary Tower or the Marriott to catch the tour, but Peter, when he learned I was staying at the Hilton, picked me up there. Great customer service!
There were 10 of us on the tour, 6 from Australia, 2 from Canada, 1 from Singapore and me from the U.S. The van was comfortable, and I was lucky to have an empty seat next to me.
Peter was very entertaining as well as very knowledgeable about the area we were seeing. He started with information about Calgary as we were leaving the city. Then explained the badlands, the canyons, the hoodoos, and the dinosaur museum. We also took a very small ferry across the river so we could see what this was like. With the exception of the museum, he was with us at each stop. This was completely different than the tour I took with RBT where the driver basically left us at each stop. Peter explained what we were seeing at each stop and answered questions.
He also kept us entertained with his sense of humor. I won't spoil it for those of you who will take this tour in the future by giving details.
Our final stop was at the Dairy Queen for ice cream which was well received.
Highly recommend Hammerhead Scenic Tours. I wish I would have taken my Banff tour with this company.

Great Tour
We had the pleasure of touring the Badlands and visiting the Royal Tyrrell Museum with Petar. We were a group of 6 adults and we all enjoyed our tour.
Booking online was easy and straight forward. Pick up and drop off was very efficient. As a guide, Petar was knowledgeable and had a great approach.
The tour driving component was very comfortable and not at all boring as Petar provided ongoing commentary - we all learned so much. The group size is limited which is wonderful - 9 in total. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is amazing - well worth the visit. Despite being jet-lagged (from arriving previous night) we all enjoyed the tour pace and itinerary. Petar ensured all guests have looked after. Thank you, Petar.

TESTIMONIALS about DRUMHELLER TOUR
Very interesting day trip
We visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, the Badlands, Drumheller, the Hoodoos, and other places of interest in the area. Peter was an excellent guide, Very friendly, helpful, and informative with many interesting stories of the area. Lots of opportunities for photographs. The museum was very interesting, with one of the largest dinosaur fossil collections in the world. Walking shoes a must, the terrain was quite rough in places. Ended with a beer in the 'Last Chance Saloon' which was very welcome.
